Just place the bowl on the wooden base, turn the knob on the front and the petals will go straight to the bowl. The removable container is made of SAN plastic. The lid is made of stainless steel, while the base is made of maple wood. The container for flakes is transparent, so you can see what and how much is inside. The special design of the lid allows the petals to stay fresh longer.
